Può un piccolo errore o fraintendimento modificare il corso intero della nostra vita?
Può poi un chiarimento successivo confermare, smentire o semplicemente far cambiare idea e renderci sconfortati per questo?
Penso di si, o no?
Poi penso al mio amico Tony, che sabato notte se n’è uscito con una delle frasi come al suo solito: “Oh ragazzi, ma non è possibile rifare tutto daccapo?”
No Tony… quando inizi a giocare e certe carte le hai già giocate non puoi più ritirarle indietro.
E’ uno degli aspetti peggiori di quando diventi adulto… però fa incazzare eh?

Can a subsequent explanation confirm, deny, or simply make you change your mind about something and leave you standing there and feeling miserable for that?
I think shit happens… don’t you?
Then my mind goes to my friend Tony, who last saturday night said one of his ones… one that seems silly at first but makes you think… “Fellas, is it possible, you think, to start everything over?”
No Tony… I guess it’s not! When you’ve played your cards you can not take them back, unfortunately.
This is one of the worst aspects of being an adult… this makes me really upset!

I doubt that if given a chance for the ‘re-do’… in most case… we would really change anything. As a matter of fact… I don’t think we’d know how.

Of course if we think to a “rebirth” without taking with us the experience of our “past life” we would not know what to choose… But if only was possible somehow to get back and actually USE what we have learnt… well… I guess that there would have been some changes then!
